Oak Beam Gap Repair
Oak beams naturally move over time, which can leave gaps between the beam and the wall — something that can look quite unsightly if left untreated.
Luckily, I’ve completed quite a few of these repairs using different methods depending on the size of the gap. Sometimes a simple caulk or filler does the job, while larger gaps may need foam noodle backer rods in different diameters before finishing with caulk for a clean, long-lasting result.
It’s one of those jobs that can be difficult to price without seeing it first, as achieving a high-quality finish takes patience, the right materials, and careful preparation — but the end result is always worth it. If you’ve noticed gaps appearing around your oak beams, feel free to get in touch.
